Digital Video Editing
We can work with you, the client, to film and create a personalized DVD of weddings or other event. However, if videography services are not required, we offer a digital editing service that caters to customers who already have video footage. We'll take your existing video (DVCAM, MiniDV, BETA, VHS, SVHS, Hi8, 8mm, etc.), edit it to your specifications, and author a DVD that will last a lifetime. Interactive menus, buttons and scene selections add that special touch. Additional audio tracks may also be laid. We encode the video in MPEG-2 format, the same format that all professional DVD's are encoded with.
The hourly costs associated with this service depends on the estimated length of the project.
1-5 hours = $40/hr
6-15 hours = $35/hr
15+ hours = $30/hr

DIGITAL TRANSFER
The authored transfer means that we take your original source video and encode it at high quality DVD and then create a stunning menu system. This menu system has a main menu, that will allow you to PLAY or go to a SCENES menu. The Scenes menu has chapter marks evenly placed throughout your video along with an animated mini video clip as the thumbnail or button. All menus are set to music. You have the choice of which theme you would like from our extensive library. To see the themes, please see the Tapes Sub Menu at the top. Each DVD-R comes with a DVD case and photo quality printing directly on the DVD-R. Because of the menu system, this type of DVD is restricted to 90 minutes of video.
